Kreiling History
Arthur Kreiling was the sole employee of Kreiling Roofing when the then-residential roofing business was founded in 1921. From these humble beginnings, Kreiling Roofing quickly grew. Today, approximately 70 dedicated employees work hard to meet your roofing needs.
By 1946, Arthur's son, Tilmon Kreiling, joined the company to expand commercial operations. His philosophy of high quality and integrity in roofing workmanship and materials has developed Kreiling's reputation throughout the years.
Arnold Heller, who joined the company in 1951 as a residential roofing salesman, purchased the company from Tilmon Kreiling in 1984. The company continued to expand both in commercial and residential operations to become one of the largest roofing contractors in Central Illinois. In 1991, to accommodate even more growth, Kreiling Roofing moved into the old Hiram Walker Employment Office located at 1616 SW Washington St., Peoria, IL.
Our current president, Paul Heller, continues to uphold the philosophy of roofing excellence established over 75 years ago.
